Bloomington Feb 23 - Mr. Nelson B. Irons, aged 55 years a prominent citizen of this city, died very suddenly today from hemorrhage of the lungs. He was the father of Mr. Frank F. Irons, of Indianapolis, general traveling agent of the Lake Erie & Western Railroad.

Nelson B. Irons of Bloomington died very suddenly from hemorrhage of the lungs. He was the father of Frank M. Irons of Indianapolis, Assistant General Passenger Agent of the Lake Erie & Wester and Mrs. John A. Sterling of Bloomington.
Note: Nelson was born in Ohio, came with his parents Thomas and Lucinda (Stultz) Irons in 1852 to Montgomery County and married Amanda Paxton here 9 Jan 1862
